HealthyBMICheck.com ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website.

Information We Collect

By default, HealthyBMICheck.com does not collect or store any personal health data you enter into our calculators. All calculations are performed locally in your browser, and your height, weight, and results are never transmitted to or stored by us — unless you choose to use the optional "Save & Track" feature described below.

Optional Account Feature: Save & Track

Some calculators (currently the BMI Calculator and Asian BMI Calculator) offer an optional "Save this result & track my progress" feature. This is entirely opt-in — if you don't use it, no account is created and no health data ever leaves your browser.

If you choose to use this feature, here is exactly what happens:

• No passwords. You sign in with a one-time "magic link" sent to your email. We never ask for or store a password.
• What we store: your email address, and — only if you tick the box to save your history — the weight, height, BMI, and category from the result you chose to save, along with the date it was recorded.
• Two separate consent choices: saving your history is required to use this feature; receiving occasional email reminders/tips is a completely separate, optional choice. Ticking one does not tick the other.
• Where it's stored: in a Cloudflare D1 database associated with this website. Login links are single-use and expire after 15 minutes.
• Session cookie: once you sign in, we set a strictly-necessary cookie (session) to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. This cookie is only used for authentication — not for advertising or tracking.

Deleting your data: you can request deletion of your account and all saved health records at any time by emailing hello@healthybmicheck.com from the email address associated with your account. We will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe and confirm once done.

This feature is intended for adult users tracking their own health data. It is not currently offered on our children's/teen BMI calculator.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyse website traffic and improve your experience. This may include Google Analytics, which collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited and time on site.

This website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.

Data Retention

For visitors who do not use the optional Save & Track feature: calculator inputs (height, weight, age) are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored by us.

For users who opt into Save & Track: your email address and saved health records are retained until you request deletion (see above), or until your account has been inactive for an extended period, at which point we may delete it as part of routine data minimisation. Analytics data collected by Google Analytics is retained according to Google's own data retention policies.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our optional Save & Track account feature is intended for adult users only and is not offered on our children's/teen BMI calculator.
